How was it born?
“Arclinea wanted to solve the problem of wood discolouration when exposed to UV rays and obtain an exclusive aesthetic finish. How to use “g upgraded recycled graphite” to achieve this? We started with g_ink, which together with Arclinea R&D was developed into g_cover”
g_cover improves the durability of kitchens by protecting wood from light and signs of wear.
Through Drawing Better Connections, the new manifesto of the ethical approach to design, Arclinea is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment, through the creation of high-quality, durable products, which is accompanied by the research and use of increasingly responsible and circular raw materials.
G_cover adds a new piece of design excellence to the Arclinea materials portfolio: it is characterized by a unique shade of gray given by “g upgraded recycled graphite”. This finish allows the company to contribute to the recycling of a precious mineral, otherwise destined for disposal.
